it’s still the best way – while simultaneously being completely worthless.
But we probably will never have a better, or even good, way to determine such things in under a day of work.

    Devil’s advocate:
    Why is it the best way? E.g. if you’d look at a candidates GPA, an example of work and maybe check in with someone who worked with the candidate before, wouldn’t that be a perfect alternative?
